Our public and community services are how we collectively make sure everyone gets what they need, now and in the future. Things like decent housing, meaningful work, education, justice, healthcare, a healthy environment, and help when things get tough.
Sadly, this government is turning its back on our collective successes. Its reckless cuts are putting our futures at risk. Even worse, it’s undermining the partnership between Māori and the Crown. Te Tiriti o Waitangi underpins how we live together on this land and can work together for a better future.
